When you need an app

Some jobs are better done from a phone than a browser.

  • Customers expect to book, order, or check status from their phone.
  • Your customers use both iPhone and Android, and you need to reach all of them.
  • Your field team works from paper forms, texts, and photos that never reach your systems.
  • Users of your web product keep asking for an app with notifications.
  • You need what a website can't do well: the camera, location, offline use, or push notifications.

What we build

Apps for your customers and your staff on iOS and Android, connected to the rest of your business

Customer apps

Ordering, booking, accounts, and notifications, connected to your back-office systems.

Field and staff apps

Checklists, forms, photos, and job updates that sync to your systems, with offline use where you need it.

Companion apps for web products

An iOS or Android app that shares accounts and data with your existing web application.

Back ends and APIs

The server side every app needs: accounts, data, notifications, and admin tools.

Apps we've shipped

Our own apps, live on iOS and Android

We designed, built, and published these apps ourselves. All three are on the App Store and Google Play.

Process

How a mobile app project runs

  1. 01

    Discovery, if needed

We define who uses the app, which platforms they're on, what they need to do on the go, and which systems it connects to. You get a written plan and estimate, or a direct proposal when the requirements are clear.

  2. 02

    Design and build

We design the key screens and build in short cycles, with working builds to try every one to two weeks.

  3. 03

    Store launch

We submit the app to the App Store and Google Play under your developer accounts. Both stores review apps before release, so timing depends partly on them.

  4. 04

    Updates and support

Apple and Google release major iOS and Android updates every year. After 30 days of free defect fixes, a monthly plan keeps your app current.

Scoping and pricing

How an app is priced

We price an app once we know what it has to do and which platforms it needs. Clear requirements suit a fixed price paid by milestone; evolving ones suit a fixed budget per phase.

We take on focused apps as well as larger products.

How we scope and price projects

What moves the cost

  • iOS, Android, or both
  • The number of screens and user types
  • Offline use, the camera, location, or notifications
  • Connections to your existing systems
  • Whether a web version is needed too

FAQ

Questions about Mobile App Development

Do you build for iOS and Android?

Yes. We build apps for both, with access to device features like the camera, location, and notifications. Whether you need one platform or both depends on your users, and we'll weigh that with you before the build.

Whose accounts are the apps published under?

Yours. App Store and Google Play accounts are set up in your name, so the listings, reviews, and users stay with your business.

How long does an app take?

It depends on the platforms, features, and integrations. A focused first version often takes about two months, plus app store review. Apps with complex features, offline sync, or many integrations take longer or launch in phases.

How much does an app cost?

It depends on the platforms, the screens, the phone features it uses, and the systems it connects to. When the scope is unclear, a fixed-fee discovery comes first.

Can the app work with our existing systems?

Usually, yes. Most systems can share data through APIs, and confirming each connection early avoids surprises later.

What happens when iOS or Android updates?

Major updates can change how apps behave, so apps need regular care. A monthly support plan covers updates and fixes so your app keeps working.
